An up and coming Doctor working at Arkam Asylum. She was manipulated by The Joker. She became a twisted version of what she could have been. She retains her brilliant mind for psychology, but rarely uses it now. She also seems to be unwilling to apply her intellectual capacity when it comes to other endeavors as well.

The Bat Computer has shown someone with a unique fascination with The Joker. The alert came from a, then, graduate Harleen Quinzel. Bruce Wayne sat in on her dissertation, watched her defend her ideas, had she continued her education she may have made an excellent doctor. She may have even been able to untangle the mind of The Joker. Why then was she hired by Arkham before completing her MD? She earned her PHD level, but cut her education short to work at Arkham as a psychologist. This was far too soon in her training.
