Due to a cryogenic accident, Victor Fries is no longer able to regulate his body temperature properly. Perpetually stuck requiring advanced refrigeration to survive, he created a full suit and weapons to cope with this new situation. His research prior to this was focused on curing his wife Nora Fries. He still seeks to cure her, however his efforts have slowed.
