Just days after the Joker destroyed Arkham Asylum, Mayor Shreck holds a press conference at the site of the atrium’s ruins. There, with all of Gotham watching, he sets the stage for a new Genesis of Gotham history… and few may be alive to see how it ends.
At the Batcave, Bruce adopts a new persona calling himself the Oracle as he guides Batgirl and Nightwing (the first Robin) in hunting down the criminals of Gotham and Arkham’s escapees. When the power is cut to the Batcave, Bruce and Alfred are greeted by a former associate and Batman villain: The Redhood (aka: the second Robin). As yet another Gotham villain delivers their manifesto, it will be up to a new generation of heroes to save their city.
Harley Quinn delivers her eulogy for Joker and galvanizes her troops with a new mission to remake Gotham City in Arkham’s image.
